Lapping TRU120X = 20degrees cooler

I just lapped my TRU120 after finding its performance very hit and miss, and managed to drop 20 degrees off my prime95 load temps....

This was after repeated reseatings and the like. The bottom of the HS was visibly curved once I took a proper look at it.

It's a good cooler, but it really shouldn't be supplied like that.

I agree, esp when they're so expensive for what is essentially some plates of metal bonded together. they must know that people are prepared to lap to get the most out of it.
