Standard retailers warranty is 12 months. After that you will probably be dealing with the manufacturer. After having to send my Geil RAM back to Taiwan recorded delivery at my own expense I would question the value of returning large items like motherboards after the 12 month period.
You can always take the supplier to the small claims court though under the "Sales of Goods Act"
