Is this still a good choice? I am looking for a 3070 or 6800 in next month (assuming stock) to go with a new 1440p monitor for gaming.
This is to complete my build from a recent component upgrade b450/3700X/16gbx3600/1tb m.2 drive.
Looks like good choice as 1440p is my target, not interested in 4k atm unless could run decent framerates.

I was trying to decide on this or an ultrawide and just saw this has gone out of stock. Any timescale on when new stock will arrive?

Good price but both OCUK and LG have been horrendous with warranty.

My monitor has been dead since September and no sign of it being fixed anytime soon :(

First of all, OC handed me off to LG to have it repaired, and told me they'd do an on the door swap, but LG were telling me they didn't repair this monitor, and the online form said the same. After back and forward with OC they agreed to have it collected, but no one ever turned up. I got in touch with LG again and explained and they reluctantly said they'll have someone collect (not an exchange may I add). DPD collected beginning of October and I haven't heard anything since :(

I would seriously avoid this monitor, because while it is great, if anything goes wrong you could have a long wait

I Need 2 x monitors for my son's Christmas present / gaming build Will hopefully be driven by an RX 6800xt if i can snag one at launce (or by christmas) On a MSI Mag X570 Tomahawk / R7 5800x (which i was lucky to snag last week at launch)

These look to be pretty good panels at a very reasonable price.... what's the likelihood of them actually arriving in stock and therefore to me before Christmas.. I can't afford to put out £700 then have to wait for a refund if they don't look likely to arrive nearer the time
