    Hi,

Is there any way of limiting a computers bandwidth?, My brother keeps on downloading utter crap from bit torrent and I'm looking for a way of limiting the amount of bandwidth he's using from the router, either via his MAC address, a static IP address or possibly installing something on his computer, but I'd rather not do that.

    Router: Netgear RangeMax WPN824
    WAP: Netgear WG602

    Thanks

Hardware wise, I haven't a clue, but software wise - netlimiter.

You could get a thrid pc and put that between your pc and your brothers asn the router and run somthing like smoothwall or another bandwidth limiting software
