    Hi all

I have bought a new system and currently using my 5-year-old crappy generic monitor and looking to grab a new monitor for about £500, adjustable height and good viewing angles (as I am sometimes laying down when gaming) would be great! The monitor would also be used for watching Blu-ray and streaming movies/shows.

Thank you for the suggestion but I won't be using an AMD graphics card. Any alternatives any can recommend?

If you can stretch to it, the AGON AG271QG would be a good shout. It uses the same panel as the Acer Predator XB271HU and Asus PG279Q.

If you want good viewing angles, you need IPS. VA or TN panels will look really washed out the moment you shift too far from center.
