HTPC help

Hi all i am just starting to build a HTPC from bits around the house so far i have,

Shuttle XPC SB81P
Intel P4 3.0ghz Socket 775
1Gb Pc3200 kingston ram
2x200gb sata harddrives
NEC ND4570 16x16 DVD±RW
nvidia Fx5900

Some quetions i have are how to connect the sound to the tv,and also how to connect the video to a tv that does not have a VGA socket only scart.

The tv is a old 42 Samsung rear projection tv with 3 scarts,1 S/video,1 Video in, left and right sound red and white.

Also will i need a tv card,as i would like to record from sky if possible.

Also should i run WMC or just use XP.
