So you had: 1/sqrt(5), which you decided to write as:
sqrt(5)/5, or:
5^(1/2) * 5^(-1), or:
5^(-1/2)
sqrt(5)/5, or:
5^(1/2) * 5^(-1), or:
5^(-1/2)
this is my answer
1/5 sqrt5
how do you write that in index form?

Reply #22 and still too much ambiguity. OP will failOk, just to clarify, is that sqrt5/5 i.e. one fifth of the square root of five, or 1/5*sqrt5 i.e. one divided by five times the square root of five
That can be simplified to 1/sqrt(5) or 5^-0.5this is what I have and need to convert to index form:
so ??
