Major problems with my newly purchased D500

    Hi,

    I purchased my brother a Samsung D500 and I'm already having problems. When I first started charging it, it was flickering from the Samsung logo screen (when you first power it up) to a black screen. Eventually it stopped doing that, and it looks like it's started to charge but instead of displaying the charging logo it would put it self to sleep as expected, but then it would beep and come back on every 10 seconds as if I pressed a button, but I hadn't touched it. I decided to just leave it be, so I came back to it an hour or so later and it said "Battery charged". So I'm all excited, until I realise it wouldn't actually come on again after that, so I take out the battery, remove the sim card then put it back together again.

    Then it comes on with no problems, other than that it's been unregistered!! It says "Limited Services" like it did before I had it registered. Has anyone had a similar problem?

    Maybe I will have to get a refund, but I would prefer to have this rectified.

    Any help will be much appreciated.
