Portishead (Natalie Imbruglia has done a song with them; Portishead feat Natalie Imbruglia - Leave Me Alone, if you like that you might like Portishead)

OK, i've had a listen to Flaming Lips but i just cannot get into them. I recognise one of the tunes (It Overtakes Me) from somewhere but nothing else really 'grabs' me. *prepares to be shot down in flames*

Bjork surprised me. I had recently been too quick to write her off as just being a little bit quirky.

I also like the Goldfrapp and Portishead stuff. I seem to be able to get into their music without having too many listens.

Going on my most listened-to albums, as 'favourite' is impossibly difficult, according to my overall chart at last.fm:
  1. Max Richter - On the Nature of Daylight (The Blue Notebooks)
  2. Joanna Newsom - Sprout and the Bean (The Milk-Eyed Mender)
  3. Plaid - New Family (Double Figure)
  4. Cortney Tidwell - Eyes are at the Billions (Don't Let Stars Keep Us Tangled Up)
  5. Murcof - Recuerdos (Remembranza)
  6. Sigur Rós - Svefn-g-Englar (Ágætis Byrjun)
  7. Joanna Newsom - En Gallop! (Walnut Whales)
  8. Murcof - Mir (Martes)
  9. Cat Power - Lived in Bars (The Greatest)
  10. Broken Social Scene - KC Accidental (You Forgot It in People)
  11. M83 - Cyborg (Dead Cities, Red Seas & Lost Ghosts)
  12. Jóhann Jóhannsson - Sálfræðingur (Englabörn)
  13. múm - Weeping Rock, Rock (Summer Make Good)

Looking at it together, I'm not sure I'd really want to listen to the whole thing. It all falls into the same kind of dynamic and mood, and frankly, being that they are the albums I've listened to most I'm a bit sick of hearing them. Bit of an indiefest with a patch of electronica, needs something more challenging and upbeat in jazz, funk and some balance from rock and mid-90s hip-hop... perhaps. Guess I'll leave that for Vol 2 :D.

Trying to find a song, think it's by Faithless  . The video features a man and a woman doing everyday activities but moving really wierdly no matter what they're doing. They are on the underground and they pass each other on the escalators whilst moving wierdly. Any idea what track that is, if it is by them at all?
