Is this a worthwhile MS qualification to acheive??
Nope, it's about equivilent to a GCSE in IT usefulness.
Thats why my company have offered to pay for me to do the course and the exams then lol
Hey, can't complain about free qualifications no matter how rubbish
I have just finished it, I thought it a complete waste of time
dont complain, I cant get any training out of my work ! :-(
Just which qualifications are worthwhile?
what is it ive never heard of that.
ok found it
Supporting Users and Troubleshooting a Microsoft Windows XP Operating System 70-271
Supporting Users and Troubleshooting Desktop Applications on a Microsoft Windows XP Operating System 70-272
your better off doing the 70-270 exam because you can work towards a mcsa.
MS Qualifications tend to be pants, aren't worth diddly squaat.
Cisco ones are a must in the networking field.
Microsoft ones are a must in the technician field.
Experience is a must for any field.
couldnt agree more with that statement, although any "free" qualifications are worth doing if your employer is willing to pay
that is complete utter tripe...
why might i ask do you feel any MS qualification is 'pants'?
I agree i thought a MS qualification would be worthwhile being as 90% of companies have/use Microsoft software???
Holy Thread Resurection
I got my MCDST today and I feel that it is useful and I hope that it will help me to get a job in IT
I thought it was perfect because the job asks for "knowledge of the Microsoft family of applications"
if it's free it's worth doing
although as mentioned i'd see if they'll do one which can be used towards something else like mcsa
i've just got a job and they've thrown mcsa into my package as an incentive, which is pretty cool
