As part of our kitchen/dining room/conservatory building work I need to replace a desktop PC and a TV, the answer, a media Center PC. :D

This is what I've come up with so far, how does this sound?

    Acer Aspire Idea 500 £810
    Samsung 20" Widescreen
    Wifi Mouse £15
    TFT Mount £45.00

Why not build your own Media Centre PC?.

You can put far better quality components inside then the ones that come with the pre-built systems.

Because it needs to be very small, very quiet and I like the out of the box nature of that one, all of the inputs/outputs, no compatibility issues.

If it was my own PC I would probably, but this is effectively my parents TV/radio/video in the dining room and I don't want the grief if it causes any problems!
