    Hello there..

I have been dabbling in the art of overclocking for the past few days and after reading quite a lot before I started I never found anything that was to do with this.

Im currently using a 333(166) memory divider and I thaught that I would be able to up the HTT by 34MHz before I had to use a lower divider (166+34=200). I currently have my HTT at 246MHz and in CPU-Z under the memory tab it says that the memory frequency is 193MHz.

Is that right? Because I would have thaught by upping the HTT by 46MHZ the memory frequency would be 212MHz (166+46=212).

When my system is at default settings with a 200MHz HTT, CPU-Z reports it as 200MHz.

Can someone explain to me what this is all about please?

    Ta.

    I see... sort of...

I will use the memory frequency reading in CPU-Z to see weather I need to use a lower divider in the future then.

    Thanks.

Errr, 166/200 is 5/6 ratio. He can put his HTT to 240 and get an equivalent memory speed of 200 (400DDR). At 234 he'll have a memory speed of 195.

    Ok thanks.

So if a 166 divider is 5/6 ratio, then what ratios are 133 and 100 dividers.

Ive never been good at maths, lol.
