how long does it takes to complete the memtest for a laptop with 1GB ram?

i have no idea if cpu/bus speed affects how long it takes, but it takes my desktop 40 minutes for 1 pass with 1gb ram.

you really want to leave it going for a several passes. set it off and go and do something else for a couple of hours. or leave it overnight.
