How much more evidence do we need that we have the wrong national sport in this country.

While our athletes create history in the stadium before going back to scraping together funding to continue their development, our multi million pound paid footballers put in a less than inspiring performance and fall out of yet another tournament.

As much as I'd like to see us win a football tournament I would've hated to see the footballers receive more exposure than our other athletes at the Olympics which would've happened had we won.

Meh, not a good penalty but ultimately Ramsey's penalty cost us the most, terrible penalty, easy save, could have saved all the trouble.

I was going to post that however, you don't need to WIN in the olypics to win, silvers/bronze mean losing to Brazil wouldn't actually be all that bad at all.
