People get far too scared about bacteria coming to get you from food.
I regularly make a big pot of chilli/bolognaise/curry and leave it in the pot for up to 5 days.
Just grab a ladle and take out as much as I want each time and then replace the lid when I'm finished.
I've never got ill from this.

Just eat it?
If it doesn't smell bad, it's probably edible from cold.
Even if it smells bad sometimes it doesn't taste bad so it's alright as long as you really give it some balls in the microwave.
