Car in question is 55 plate mondeo tdci 115.
When i put the boot down and the turbo starts to pick up, about 1800rpm i get a whoosh kind of noise, like the noise of leaves on trees in the wind? Goes away if i take foot off the gas, and gets louder as the revs go up. Clutch down and the noise goes away.
No smoke from the exhaust and a slight lack of boost.
Any ideas?
Booked into the garage tomowrrow, but like to go in with an idea of the problem and possible cost?
Mot and full service was carried out 2 weeks ago. And ever since this the car cranks 3/4 times till it starts, wont just start straight away like before it had the mot and service??
