Hi all,

My girlfriends PC died last night so now needs fixing, I figured rather than buy some more budget bits for her, I'd do my i7 upgrade a few months earlier than planned and she can have some of my old kit.

The budget isnt huge so I'm definately going with a 920. As I'm now doing this upgrade earlier than planned I havnt done my research so need to know what mobo and ram to get.

It'll be being used with the rest of the kit in my sig, got a pretty hefty watercooling setup so a decent overclock should be possible and I'd hate to limited by a poor mobo or ram choice. That said, I cant afford to simply get the best.

I'd like suggestions for a mobo and 6gb (or more) of ram for a max of around £250. Needs to be a decent clocker, not too bothered what other features.

Any suggestions appreciated.
