    Hello

New Mondeo on it's way at the weekend (year old, but new to me) and was told today that it has airbags around all the doors.

Now I have 2 kids (ages 3 and 1) who are in car seats in the back and was wondering if anyone knew if there were issues with these type of airbags with car seats.

I know you're not supposed to put the rear facing baby seats in the front when you have a passenger airbag, but dont know much about these side airbags on the back doors.

    Cheers

I thought if you were putting a rear facing seat in the front you were suppost to disarm the passenger airbag?

not sure about side airbags sorry. I'd have thught they'd be fine though, otherwise the manufacturer would have to put some way if disarming surely? (Hence why you should disarm the passenger when using a child seat in the front.)

EDIT - Sorry re-read and you do say that about the passenger airbag - doh nevermind :o
