Random question but could a monitor cause a computer to crash?

Very unlikely me thinks, but the wrong driver for your monitor perhaps?

While it might -seem- to, monitors are extremely unlikely to -cause- a crash given that they receive info and afaik don't do much in the way of actually interacting two-way with the computer proper. Unless of course you're using some shady driver/software that comes with the monitor, that could definitely cause conflicts.
