Some of it came from the OTC (thanks for paying taxes guys), most came from my parents and the rest came from my savings.

I'd estimate mine at about £6 per day. I don't cook much from scratch but I do try and make good use of BOGOFs from Tesco.

I spend about £30 per week in Tesco, and maybe eat out at a cost of around £10-15 once per week.

My food bill is around £200 p/m for 2 adults + 2 kids at the weekend. Mon-Fri I'll eat dinner at work so thats another £15 p/w roughly. My g/f spends about £10 p/w on lunch Mon-Fri. £300 all in, doesnt include take away food or going out to eat.

We spent £200 on supermarket shopping for the month (2 of us) and probably another £200 again on going out for meals.

I also spend maybe £50 a month on my lunch for work

Likewise. £25/day is an absurd food budget, what I wouldn't give to actually have £25/day to spend on anything at all. :confused:

About £30 a week on food shop plus £10 eating at uni, may be anotehr £10 a week if i go to town. £750 is a life of luxury !

I have actually had better wine for £5 than £20 bottles. But that could be relative as I may be too concious of how much the £20 bottle is costing me per glass.
