    just 2 from tonight, which one do you think is the best?

    did get a picture of saturn and mars but there not too good

    Hard to pick, probably the first. I'd whack the contrast up in PS though.

    First, purely because its a tighter crop and the detail on the surface of the moon is bigger :)

    Very nice exposure on them both, its quite tricky to get it just right as you want to get the detail but also the brightness of the moon showing through. What was it taken through and what exposure?
    I really must get my telescope out of the garage...

    taken on 300d with Sigma 80-400 @400
    Shutter speed 1/125
    ISO 100
