Motherboard for Ryzen 3?

Hi, I will be upgrading to Ryzen 3 in the coming weeks. I am not that familiar with the AM4 platform. Will Ryzen 3 be compatible with existing AM4 motherboards, if yes is it worth buying an AM4 board now, or waiting for new boards on Ryzen 3's release?

Zen 3 should be compatible with most existing AM4 boards, though they will need a BIOS update to be able to support Zen 3.

B450, X470, B550 and X570 are the boards that I believe are going to get these updates. But presumably depends on the motherboard manufacturer actually releasing a new BIOS.
