Yes, i know i can look on google

What ideas do you have for mothers day, usually I get something a bit different to the usual flowers or chocolates. Something that will be used like perfume, lipstick or bath bomb type things from body shop

What will you be getting for mothers day?

Nothing Im a man so wont be getting anything.

I however will simply purchase her some wine and a card.

Cannot stand it all. another reason to be told to go spend money. My mums birthday is soon and I would rather make a song and dance about that

My mums birthday AND mothers day fall on the same day this year.

The wallet will have a fit.

    Same! Bloody March 14th!

    I'm going for:

    - Large bunch of flowers
    - Few CD's of her favourite artists
    - Some bath/smelly soap crap.

    Job is a goodun :D

Thorntons are doing something on their website where you can choose which chocolates to put into a box and choose what box design you want as well, i went with that as my mum loves caramels.

It's GD, to be honest, any "Spec a female a gift thread" has one regardless of who she is in relation to the OP.

What's wrong with getting flowers for your mum?

Almost forgot. Flowers ordered, though what a rip. When did sites start charging a minimum of £30 + del!

For that amount I usually get some chocolates as well. :(

I always get chocolates and/or alcohol for every present for my mother. She has tens of books and dvds to watch I've given her in the past!

If it isn't perishable, it won't get bought :)

Just buy em a week later. I'm sure your mum will understand she'll get double the amount for 1/2 the price... :D

I'm making my mum a voucher to put in the card. Trip up to London and a show of her choice. I would buy the tickets before hand and give them to her, but would rather she chose a day and show that suited her.
