I don't see how it can work at Tech 3. They say they want Cal, Yamaha say they want Cal on a Yamaha, Cal would like a works ride, direct with Yamaha. Bradley had a deal with Tech 3, not Yamaha. Yamaha want Pol. Two into three doesn't go. Either someone misses out or gets moved back to Moto2 or Yamaha put another bike on the grid like Honda do for Bradl.

If Yamaha want to bring in a new rider next year then the only option they have is to drop Cal, everyone else is on a 2 year contract, he is on a 1. They can't bring an extra bike in even if they wanted to due to max 4 bikes per manufacturer.

For the 2013 season onwards manufacturers in the MotoGP class are restricted to two direct entries per manufacturer and may provide material for a maximum of two entries per manufacturer operated by Independent teams. This results in two factory and two satellite machines.

Hmm then someone isn't going to be on a Yamaha next year. mind you with Pol's continued poor performance in practice today I'd say Yamaha might be holding fire on bringing him through. Lets see if he gets through this rough patch he's been having.

It will all change in the race that's for sure. I'm guessing Pedrosa and Lorenzo will battle it out ahead and Rossi, Cal and Marquez will be going for the last podium spot.

2 wins in a row for Scott Redding in moto2 :) leading the championship by 40 points!

Shame there is such a shortage of decent rides in MotoGP as Britain could well have 3 riders on the grid next season.
