I have been thinking quite a lot over the past few years, and i have been contemplating to move away to some new surroundings.

I thought to myself, i want to go somewhere where i do not have to learn a new language as such, and is similar to England in the way things are opperated.

I initially thought Australia, but thats too far away for me, then i thought of the USA.

Has anyone made the big move, and if so, what are your experiences?

The Americans are mostly a great people and are very hospitable!

Erm
Not what I found when I went, quite the opposite actually. 90% of them thought I was a terrorist because I'm not white. Didn't even go to the red states, I'd have probably been shot there.

90% of the people you came across, but not 90% of the entire population I think!
And no, I haven't met the entire population obviously, but the people that I have met are awesome and are also very welcoming to non-white, non-american people!
