Build

The Thermaltake Core X9 Case specs state it supports 2 front panel 200mm fans. Whilst there
is space the front plastic cover will not fit unless you modify it by cutting away the reinforcement strips.
This obviously weakens the panel, but it is still usable. Two Phanteks PH-F200SP 200mm Fans fitted.
The case also does not support EEB motherboards without modification. I had to add 3 extra holes.

I like that a lot. Pity the top panel doesn't have a window so that the cpu blocks can be seen from above.

Thanks. I agree it would be nice to see the CPU blocks as they light up well.
I put both rads in the top so you cannot see anything from the top, however, Thermaltake does the glass side panel as an accessory so I might get one so you can see in from both sides.

That looks pukka mate well done.

Love that case too I've been wanting a Core X5 for ages and the only thing stopping me is that I can't actually put it anywhere at the minute.

I've been building watercooled PC's for almost a decade and I'd be happy if mine turned out like that so for a first time build that's fantastic, well done.
