I'm over double my money in 3 days. Just lots of in play bets.
Gonna risk it rather than bank as £10 is a pathetic stake to start with aha.

Also had that darts bet almost ruin me ^

I'm now up to £18.66, starting with only £10 yesterday :)

I have bet on football, tennis and ice hockey so far. I even had to read up on the Ice Hockey rules to work out what was most likely from the scores.

Edit: Now up to £21.22

Retiring for the day. Almost lost it all on darts after going for a very safe 1.02 bet on someone to win who was 3-0 up which quickly turned to 3-3. I'm never betting on darts again.

Progress so far:

Start: £12.00
Day 1: £15.91 (+32%)
Day 2: £21.44 (+35%)

It's rather addictive. :D

Simon Whitlock by chance? :p

Good luck with this, see these fail all the time on betfair though. Out of interest what was the Catalonia/Tunisia score? Catalonia were 2/9 at the start but didn't have a clue who they had playing so picked the draw :p

New odds, old odds, I still don't understand it. :D

when you get to £100
Bank £50
But play with another pocket full of £50 (of your own money I mean)
so that you still carry on betting with the £100 you originally made..
Bank when you double your money then you can only ever lose half of it.
No? (in fact no, I think you actually can't lose any money other than your original stake)

Make it to £200, bank £100 and put £100 back in the pot from your pocket.
Bet £200 until you make £400, bank £200 and put £200 in the pot...
Bet the £400 until you make £800, bank £400 and put £400 in the pot..

Keep this going until you physically can't afford to add to the pot :D

Question?
1. How quick (assuming you don't lose) (in time days) does it take to double your money.
2. Does this time period change with differing pot sizes.

wtf is the point in that?

banking money to only put the same amount in makes no ******* sense what so ever. in fact your just losing money that way.

Start: £12.00
Day 1: £15.91 (+32%)
Day 2: £21.44 (+35%)
Day 3: £25.25 (+18%)

That's me for the day. Put everything on a few low risk under x.5 goal bets today and they all went ok. That's my money doubled after 3 days. If only I'd put in real money to start with.... :p

If I continue with 1.03 bets winning for the next 365 days (a bet a day) this time next year i will have about 480k (ignoring betfair commissions) haha

I will have to bet 460k to win 20k mind you!!!

Thats the big problem. Wheres the cut off point when you decide it isnt worth the risk :p

Yep, that's the issue. If I manage to nurse £10 into £100 it's not the value that important, it's the amount of time that went into it! If you have the balls to keep going to £1000 then it becomes real money....

I guess the solution is to have no fear and attachment to what you've achieved so far and just keep ploughing ahead.

fair point indeed - however - if it all goes wrong in the thousands - i've actually lost a tenner - that's the way i've got to look at it!!:D:D

So I take it this is working out for some people? May start doing this when I get internet back. Start with £30 or so. Not a great deal to lose really.
