Hey, I'm new around here
Anyways, I need a new PC as my current rig is getting out dated now. I want something that can last me a good year or two with minimum upgrades. Basically I want a PC that I can play all the games on with full graphics, able to do a lot of graphics intensive work (as part of my uni course) and can handle all this with either dual monitor or a wide screen setup. My budget is a max of £2500. This is what I thought would do the job
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 4600
Mobo: DFI LanParty UT CFX3200-DR RD580 Crossfire
RAM: Corsair 2GB DDR XMS3200C2PT
HDD: aiming for 500gb+, proberly one 500gb WD cavair and one 160gb one
GFX: 2 HIS ATI Radeon X1900 XT ICEQ 3 (or nVidia eqivlent)
Monitor setup: I was thinking 3 BenQ FP91G+ 19" in a windscreen setup using a Matrox TripleHead2Go adapter
Of course all this is open to change if any of you can suggest anything of equal or better
