http://www.overclockers.com/tips1233/index.asp This guy needed a small-ish case for his computer, so built his own using wood!
I actually quite like the idea of a wooden case. Lightweight yet sturdy, and cheap. Might be a bit of a fire risk though =/
You can tell he didnt put much effort into it though. I would have done a better job in 3rd year Craft and Design. He probably gets about 20 splinters each time he touches the case.
Hehe yeah... VERY poor job IMO. One of these days I'll post pictures of the wooden case I made. Darn site nicer than that one... and rather bigger. It's the coolest case I own and doubles as my bed side table.
I think that case is awful but that is a good site for watercooling reviews and general info on watercooling. He does get a bit technical sometimes though.
Now now be fair - he did knock it up in about 2 days with not much in the way of tools lol. Im sure we could all make a nicer case if we had the time to do it. SiriusB
Making your own case is nothing new...people on here have made much better ones. For example: Thats made out of wood and David230 is making an alluminum one atm.
ill have to find a picture of my case i had at dreamhack last year; it consisted of an Asus A8V cardboard box modded with scissors.
