Hey all, so my computer is currently 6 years old almost 7 and have been noticing a few problems emerging with it. I wanted to upgrade, but with the faults that have started to happen now and then, I want to take the leap and buy a new system. Pretty much any thing I buy now would probably be an upgrade to be honest, but the only required parts I want for sure are listed below.

- RTX 3070
- AMD Ryzen 7 3700X
-32GB of RAM

I am open to all options and makes, and have looked at a few personal choice builds, but am not a 100% I am getting the best parts possible. I do not really have a budget but would like to go no more than about £1500 mark if possible.

Example build - should fit your £1500 budget

  • Zen 3
  • MSI B550 Tomahawk ~£160 (Quality B550 MB for the money and cash back deal)
  • 32Gb Crucial Ballistix 3600MHz ~£140 (2 x 16Gb)
  • RTX 3070 - ~£500
  • WD Blue SN550 1TB - £110
  • Dark Rock Pro - £60
  • Corsair RM 750W Gold - 10 year warranty ~£99
  • Be quiet Pure Base 500DX ARGB ~£90
MSI are doing a cash back - ~£45 when you buy the B550 and a Ryzen CPU.

Same as component list above but with pics - where possible (Note MSI Promoional cash back detail mentioned above)

Quality B550, Crucial Ballistix (micron E) tight timings, PSU modular with 10 year guarantee, Cooler will keep things cool and quiet and sleek deisgn, great case - but personal preference....

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £537.17 (includes shipping: £12.30)

Great stuff, couple of parts I chose are the same, glad I got some bits OK. Thank you
NP - £1500 is a healthy budget even with 32Gb of memory (makes sense if you can afford it) and a RTX 3070 thrown into the mix. You can pick and mix quality components - for your money.
