right well, bascially i have a motherboard (jetway A210gdms) that has no metal backplate included with it, so my lovely xp90c heastink is useless atm What im looking for is a decent heastink to cool my 148 opteron that comes with a metal backplate, or else a crappy one that i can steal the backplate from to use with my xp90c. Any suggestions guys?

Thermal take Big typhoon, comes with the fixing for a backplate and also has fixings for without providing you board has the 2 holes. AD
the problem i have atm is height. I'm currently using a silverstom ssc-lc03 I dont have a lot of height to play with. some of those 'sinks are taller than 120mm which wouldnt literally leave about 1/2cm gap between the sink and the case lol wont have a chance in hell of cooling a 2.9ghz opty passively lol
