nest heating

have a ideal combi es35 boiler with 2 multi zone thermostats/programmers (danfoss tp5000)

looking at nest to replace the thermstats
as i have a dual zone will i need to have x2 smart links (one for each zone)
i know i will need 2 thermostats


also will the current wiring for the thermostats be redundant?

Just 2 thermostats.

I think you would need a rewire for 2 port valves depending on how it's currently wired. If it's the existing stats direct to the valves then you need to get control wires to the nest hub.
