been looking at the cheap Soldout software range for £4.99 and was just wondering if some of these titles work.

    Thief - Deadly Shadows
    RollerCoaster Tycoon 2
    Settlers games
    Civilization IV
    Civilization III
    Command & Conquer games
    Dungeon Keeper 2
    Hospital Tycoon
    Imperial Glory
Medieval Total War - Gold Edition
    Railroad Tycoon 3
    RollerCoaster Tycoon 3
    Theme Hospital
    Railway Simulator
    Vietcong 2

im not going to buy all of these but it would be nice to know if they would work. Ive tryed getting CM 10 and FM09 to work but ive not had much luck, CM10 was painfully slow and fm09 just crashed as soon as it started.

So im just wondering would these games on the list run?

The 1024 x 600 resolution seems to be the stumbling block with a lot of (strategy) games. Would love to play Civ III, but the lack of vertical resolution makes it a laborious task. :(

Total Annihilation I bet works well though... haven't had a chance to try that yet. :)

I play 06/07 but it can be a bit annoying because you have to use the --smallscreen option and it has vertical scrolling.

I meant in terms of performance, I'm looking at a 12" netbook which will be able to play it full screen but is it very slow to play on a netbook?

Make sure you upgrade the memory. It will make quite a difference to games and general speed.
