Hi there,

I’m hoping for some advice and to be pointed in the right direction of getting myself a new pc.
This will be my first self-build.

My budget is around £800 / £1000.

I’m only looking for a tower build, I have a kB/mouse. (Will get a new monitor at some point in the future)
If any monitor recommendations which are a great deal I can extend my budget to include the price on top of the tower budget.

I will be using the Pc for gaming mainly and some web browsing.

I’m hoping for a machine which can play recent games and will hopefully be able to continue playing new titles as time goes on.

some examples of games I will be playing are: WoW, CoD, Fortnite

thanks in advance :D

What is your current monitor? What is going to be the budget for your next monitor and when are you going to be getting it?

My current monitor is an older one, so when I think about it I would ideally look to get a monitor at same time as tower.

I’m looking to spend around 2/300 Mark for a monitor but again maybe willing to push it for the right one. Thanks

Hey Cmcd95,

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £841.00 (includes shipping: £11.10)

This might be a good start for you, you still need a case and possibly some secondary storage and a different cooler if you are not happy with the stock one.

If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.

Hey Cmcd,

It doesn't need to be a full tower, just look for a case that fits an ATX motherboard and has sufficient space for the graphics card dimensions, dimensions for the MSI Radeon RX 5700 XT MECH OC 8GB are 232 x 126 x 46 mm, it should say in the case descriptions something like "Supports graphics cards up to 35 cm long".

Hey Cmcd95,

The CPU does come with a Wraith Stealth cooler, an aftermarket one would be better though.

You will need a wireless adapter if you want WIFI.
