OK a friend of mine has been into photography for quite a while and wants to take it to the next level - starting with a new machine. This is what he has asked me for ...
Intel Quad Core
8Gb Ram
Decent 1Gb Graphics (no games will be played)
Decent case but nothing flash, no shiny lights or windows etc needed
As you can imagine he needs raw power for a 24" monitor and his software, grafting with 70 - 100mb tiff files.
A bit of advice on mobo, cpu & graphics would be appreciated as i aint a fan of Intel myself as I have been with AMD since my PII died many moons ago LOL
forgot to mention the big one - MONITOR!
got to be 24-26" with excellent colours etc ...
