New build, tempratures rising

I have just put together my new set up and booted just to the BIOS, just to check it does boot, and the CPU temprature seemed to be quite high (39 deg) from boot and climbing until I turned everything off.

The components are:
ASrock FM2A75 Pro 4 Mobo
AMD A8-5600K
Coolermaster Hyper TX3 Evo tower cooler

I used the coolermaster thermal paste that came with the cooler, does it take time to bed in and bring temps down or should it be instant? Could I have put the paste on wrong or used too much?

The fan on the coller was running okay, so I know that was fine.

Am I worrying over nothing or do I need to make some changes??

Thanks guys

AMDs do usually run hot, and BIOS (and POST) push things uneconomically. If you're concerned, you can clean off the thermal compound and reapply - remember, less is more. The purpose is not to smother the CPU lid but to merely fill in the microscopic gaps in the lid and heatsink.

Thanks guys, been a while since I did a new build so maybe I am worrying over nothing. I think i will continue and then see what the temps look like once everything is in place, maybe they will settle down a bit.

Just glad it booted to the bios ;):D
