Right I might have to put the kids on 24 hr/ 7day week shifts for a month as the 7800GS is starting to look mighty tempting!
Glad to be here by the way! as all advice is helpful good or bad as I can weigh up differences. I have been posting on about 4 forums lol.
If I were to upgrade both memory and card which would I benefit from most as I cant afford to do both at once, say a nice 2 gig pair of corsair or a gfx card?

Graphics i would say.

You could do what "toucam" said which is wise considering youre aging system.
You could get the X800XL & with money saved get some extra ram as well.
On your system it may well be the best bet.

Go for the cheaper GFX card (XL or even XT) then buy more RAM, I think running Windows with less than 2GB of RAM should be made illegal in this country :D
