Memory is way overpriced for 2x8GB.
At that price level and especially for VMs you should be looking at absolutely future proof 2x16GB:

That motherboard is way overpriced for quality.
It has same VRM as B450 Tomahawk/Carbon.
MSI went from B450 hero to plain zero in X570 and took consumer scamming torch carrier role from Asus and Gigabyte.
(who again improved VRMs, though Asus half assed chipset cooler design by putting it to be baked by graphics card's heat)

If not actually needing Wifi B450 Tomahawk is about £100 and B450 Carbon £20 more if needing Wifi.

In X570 Gigabyte Aorus Elite would be well balanced design, with basically off the charts crazy overkill VRM for just 3700X...

1200W PSU is even more bat crazy.
650W is well enough.

Samsung rapes and robs in prices.
You can get half TB drive for £72.

In fact money saved from PSU would easily give 1TB drive. (though better priced ones are out of stock)

And Asus is making some of the worst Radeon cards and while reference card didn't give them chance to screw up cooler, saved money would already give XT.

Also that case needs two fans for intake.

Massively overspending on the PSU, plus you don't need anything like 1200w - a decent 650w will do.

The Samsung drive is overpriced for the capacity - you could get the WD Blue SN550 with double the capacity for less.

Do you really need the X570 motherboard or would a decent B450 suffice bearing in mind they'll also take the next gen AMD stuff when it arrives?

Savings made on just the above could get you more storage or perhaps more ram if you're running a few VMs, or a new GPU with a full warranty.

That's just after a quick look, others will have more to add I'm sure :)

...aaaand @EsaT beats me by a minute :D

I'd imagine someone could/will recommend a different PSU. I'm not someone to hand out advice but I'd think something like a Seasonic SSR 650w, Corsair RM650x or even Corsair CX650m would be money spent better.

The Phanteks Amp PSU is a great unit... Its pricey but your getting Gold rating, Fully modular and it has Seasonic components inside so you know its going to perform well...

The MSI B450 boards are great for the Ryzen 3600 and 3700X, the only upside to having the pricey X570 is the fact it has PCIe 4.0 but not really needed :)
