new £££ Computer crashing in game and windows question

Hi all,

I have bent pins in my LGA 1151 socket. However computer boots, windows installs and can even game for a bit before getting crashes.

It passes Cinebench and Prime95 on 30 min stress tests.

My questions is:

"Can a motherboard with bent pins still pass these tests but still be the cause of the crashing?"

Memtest?

Depends on what those pins are for.
Did you take a photo?

Memtest passed (although it did say memory locking failed but that didn't seem to be an issue)

thanks for the linus link. Will take a look.

basically I am banking that it is the bent pins that are the issue and going to try and bend them back into place carefully.
