I'd spend £16250 on a new Octavia vRS. Golf GTI in smarter clothes IMO.

Never, I cant find anything to like about VWs as I find their cars dull as ditch water. The other half had a Mk4 Golf as a company car and I thought it was awful, although to be fair Ive never driven the mk5 Golf which might be a lot better.

I would never spend that much on a golf not enough engine. I think I would have an M3 or a Vauxhall Monaro.

I really want to say yes, but it's far too much dolla for what you get.

I can see it's appeal, it's the more mature, fashionable & cool car compared to the ST/VXR & I've finally been convinced that it can also cut it as a 'drivers' car.
I certainly wouldn't be disapointed if I had one.
