New house - Energy suppliers?

Hi All

Moving into my first house in 10 days, can't wait! Currently gas and electric is via two different suppliers, but I would like to use one as its easier and cheaper on a combined tariff. Can I ring up on day one and subscribe to a combined tariff, or do I have to contact the existing suppliers first and switch after?

Can switch online/via phone and don't need to inform old supplier, they will just provide you with a closing bill.

Decide who you want to go with. Ring your current supplier.... You will need to create an account with them just to close it down... It takes around 30 days to switch over usually.

Then call your new supplier to make the switch.
