I'm going to remove the clamshell to replace the metal grille, what do you think to leaving the 'V' off?
Also got a new splitter to put on... so will look like this.. These are the pics i have of it outside
the gap looks too big imo, defo de-V it, but something needs to go in. if your car was black then it would look fine
How about getting rid of that huge Griffin and keeping the V? Originally I really liked the de-vee'd look but after somebody pointed out that it looks like the car is smiling I've gone off it. I quite like the de-griffin'd look though.
Without the Griffin is a pain as it is moulded into the V. You have to cut it out with a hacksaw and there is quite a lot of work involving filler and repainting to get it done. I can take it off and see whether I like it without, I can always put it back on another time.
looks ok, but i think because your car is blue the black gap looks a lot bigger than it is, it looks awesome on black vx's as shown in this thread http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showpost.php?p=6664661&postcount=19 but think it looks a little too bland on your blue one! although it is definitely an improvement, just needs something there though!
In the Mesh, mask out a 'VX220 Logo', so it can be seen....and get rid of the 'V'....now that would look cool
Obviously not the right font, or IMO colour and with no Mesh texture, so all in all a pretty poor PS, but you kinda get the idea....
