new memory

    Hi all looking for advice for 4gb ddr2 800mhz cheap memory for a second build.
    Using a brand new msi 975x platinum power up motherboard.
    Any one have any advice on these boards for overclocking gonna start with a e4500.

    Its not exactly cheap, but this stuff is good memory and runs at the correct voltage for your motherboard.

    Thanks for the advice but thats just a little pricey.
    Just bought 4gb of kingston ddr2 800mhz for £20 inc pnp from a well known auction site.
    Its all 4 single 1gb sticks and its ecc but still a bargain i thought. lucky the 975x takes ecc.
    So
    so far board brand new £24,
    e4500 free given by a friend,
    4gb £20,
    fsp 530watt ps £10 inc pnp.
    Ati 3850 512mb £13 inc pnp,
    Now to start overclocking
    What speed should i get from overclocking the E4500?
