Hello everyone hope you are all well!
I have a Socket AM3 machine which has served me really well and still does to this day.
CPU: Athlon II 435 Tri-Core
DDR3 Ram
MSI C70-445
Now what I am in desperate need of is to downsize my case to a MicroATX or smaller but keep as much parts as I can the same.
I believe I am in luck as AM3+ motherboards are backwards compatible!? so I was thinking maybe Asus Micro-ATX AM3+ would do the trick nicely?
I have a 460GTX GPU though so not sure if this beast will be too big for microATX?
I want a really nice smart looking case maybe bitfenix style? Any advice on this move would be great.
See I can keep RAM, CPU, heatsink/fan the same hopefully and upgrade the case, mobo and throw in a SSD.....
