On the other hand, what would be average CPU and stuff to be able to play some games out now??? or does the ram and stuff not matter???

Hi, if you haven't built systems before, it may be worth buiyng a pre buit computer. Have a read of a few computer mags and online guides to see what would suit you. To play the latest games at a decent level of detail you will need some pretty decent specifications, which have already been posted by semi pro waster.

nope... never read anything about anything... but I have fitted my 400watts power supply into the case *^_^*
