Hi folks, Creative have decided that, at around 5 years old, my old NX Pro webcam is obsolete, so they've officially stopped supporting it and haven't released Vista or W7 drivers for it. I find this incredibly annoying because it's still a very good webcam and performs just as well, if not better, than some of the webcams currently available. So... I need a good webcam that will work with 64-bit Windows 7. USB2, 30fps and 1280x1024 for video seem to be a good spec to aim for these days and I'm willing to spend up to around £30 or so. I've been looking at the Logitech C300 or C500 and the Microsoft VX-6000 webcams. Does anyone have these or any other recommendations ? Thanks in advance.
Got a VX-6000 and although still running xp I'm sure being a MS product they will have good windows 7 support. As for the webcam itself, it's a great quality cam and have had both a logitech and creative webcam in the past and this is miles better in terms of the quality of video
