You've already upgraded to one nice set of alloys, why do it again?

You might aswell keep the money and put it in the M5 pot. The car looks fine on the current wheels, i'd go as far as to say stunning, they suit it perfectly.

Save up and then go buy your "dream" E39.

Jesus, didn't realise you could pick up a 7/8 year old M5 for 9/10k. Still, I guess the initial outlay is only half the story.

Get one! :D

To be honest I hadn't noticed either, I'd assumed i would still need £15k to get one that would meet my ridiculously anal condition requirements and hence felt it was something that would never happen...

The cars value (It might be worth closer to 40p thinking about it) is something which is completely irrelevent to me until the day I decided to part with it. It has no influence on decisions I make about spending money on it. I see no reason why it should, the car is for me to enjoy not fret about its value.

Another 1000 mile journey next week, who cares about values :D
