Is there any chance of getting the following in a shuttle and if so what case:
AMD 3700+ 64bit (S754)
2GB Pc3200
X800 XT PE (AGP)
Creative Audigy 2 ZS 7.1 (THX)
1 Hard Drive SATA
My only worry is the X800 XT PE and soundcard both fitting. Since the GPU occupies two slots. Also would the standard heatsinks needed to be fiited to the cpu and gpu. At the moment have artic cooling heatsinks for both.
Just that I am thinking of building a new pc fairly soon and using some of my current one to make a shuttle to use in conjunction with my TV and the 7.1 surround sound. Currently have the TV connected via S video to the pc and the soundcard to the speakers (using creative gigaworks 7.1 but when connected to Sky+, dvd, etc using the creative digital decoder).
How loud are shuttles as my pc atm is very quiet and runs very cool just on air. My new one will be water cooled. The shuttle won't be on very often when the tv isn't and probably wont be used to record stuff since I have Sky+ so not a huge problem aslong as it wont be too loud.
