Can someone kindly explain CAS please as I am interested in purchasing this RAM...

Corsair 2GB DDR Value Select PC3200 CAS3.0 Kit

I also see CAS 2.5 and so on and so forth...

Is this just marketing jargon or will it make a difference when overclocking....
