NiceHash needs to bring back TRex miner for them to survive.

RVN (KawPoW) and CFX (Octopus) will probably start to be mined quick heavily soon, TRex is by far the best miner for those algo especially octopus.

    Other plugins are horrifically inefficient.

You should sell it to me for RRP because it's not worth it, before the GPU prices crash and it's worth £400 ;x

Don't use QM and use the normal miner and you can install the plugin again. I've used an older version of Nice hash and it still works without any issues.

There is nothing stopping you mining to Nicehash using t-rex, just edit the t-rex batch file with the stratum pointing to Nicehash and use your Nicehash wallet ID.
That's what I was doing before moving to quickminer (although I'm mining to 2miners again now for better profit in this slump)

Not many people know how to do this. Though how does it interface with the normal UI

I have not updated the windows UI for ages. Which means the TRex is still available.

You would need to use it separately so you won't have the normal UI.
It is set it up the same way you would if you were mining to a pool but just use the Nicehash details instead.

If you wanted to do this it's probably best to see the other mining thread about pool mining because there are instructions how to edit the batch file etc

Does the mining stats show up in the normal NH UI in terms of earnings in BTC?

TRex has web UI so thats ain’t the issue really.

Same here. I found Trex to be the best for me so no point updating.

So what conversion would you use if BTC falls to £5k per coin?

Use the current rate end of.

If you use old or future rates they may never hit that again. You're effectively gambling then. Are you in this for the money or speculation?

If in for money then use current rate. If in it for speculation as long as it's above break even then it doesn't matter.

I copied the TRex miner plugin folder for an older version in to the newer installs miner plugin folder. When you start up NH miner it detects it and asks if you want to install it. Sorted :)

I'm in it for speculation, and agree with your entire post.
